broken neo any ideas?

Got one on ebay,picture is scrambled looks like its only got a few colours,sounds ok,i can see and hear the game running ok any ideas its the model with the extra board on it?............Gaz

It sounds like a bios problem - but a picture of the screen is always helpful in diagnosis, what is the serial number and what are you using as a power supply?

tried it on several power supplies its a 5v 3amp type,some times you get the neo geo power up screen,other times you dont!no serial no on the back,cant see a number on the board apart from pl241s how you post pix?extra board on it and a weid cable inside
every time you boot it you get dif results!!!....................Gaz

can you post a shot of the screen? Might help some of the tech guys here pick out the problem...
