Man, it feels damn good to have electricity again!

God, it feels great to be back online again!

Last Thursday night, hurricane Isabelle hit us spot on and knocked out our electricity until around 5:00 this evening. The biggest tree in our yard fell right across our roof over the kitchen and it took us close to three days to cut that sucker down.

The only real damage we took was done to our garage that my brother had almost finished up for my parent's Christmas gift. It was located directly to the left of our home and the tree shattered it completely. We have someone from the insurance company coming out Friday so I'm glad to see this will be taken care of quickly.

I'm just thankful the garage was there as it broke most of the tree's momentum and kept it from actually slamming through our home. Anyway, I'm just damn glad to be back online. I never really realized how much I use and love the net until now.

Now I need to go catch up on all the latest horror news I missed over these past few days.

Shit, and I thought the 66 hours we went without power was bad!

Threre are people near here (MD) that won't have power until this Friday at the earliest. Sucks to be them!

Our power went out Thursday around 11 PM or so and didn't return until Sunday evening.

2 refrigerators worth of food later...

i got it back sunday, it was hell

now you know how we felt when we had the blackout.

Oh man, it really sucks to be you guys, ever since I moved down to Florida all that's ever happened was hurricane warnings and getting out of school, but the hurricanes never hit!! So I have yet to experience the electricity going out for more than say 3 hours.

i hate it for ya bro but im glad to know that your alright.

Electricity is still spooty at my place, I haven't had full power returned since Thursday at 11AM last week. I had power for an hour yesterday... today about 2... of course work is up so I am cool in that regard. It's not really that big of a deal, it has been kind of nice not being chained to the computer (meaning this site...) all night
