I saw one today that an arcade manager might be interested in selling. Its monitor is sort of blurry and grimey, and the player 1 joystick is completely missing. I think its about a 27 inch screen or so, doesn't have the large speaker on top. It has the games KOF 96, Kizuna Encounter, Samurai Shodown 2, and Baseball Stars 2. Its in California, and I'm wondering what I should offer this guy. I was thinking about a 2 or 3 hundred or so.

In the condition you described...not more than $200 since if the monitor's going out, it'll cost that much if not more to replace it. Then again, it may be due to the fact the game's old and the guy never cleaned the monitor or inside glass in the game (they can get dirty really fast!). Joysticks are a dime a dozen.

I'd take it for $200...sounds like a real fixer-upper to me :drool_2:

I'd tell him to send you the 4 carts and the 4-slot. Those games and the board are easily worth the $200 and you don't need to pay $200 for shipping.

Where are you and he in California?

I'm not shipping it, its in my town. he also has a nice street fighter 2 championship edition that I want. Maybe he'll sell em both for a combined cheaper price.

There's another $200 for that. I'd start out at $350 "AS-IS" and maybe go up to a max of $500 going by your description of the games.

In the game room that I work at, there's a Street Fighter 2 (in a MK cabinet) and a 6-slot Neo-Geo (in a TMNT cabinet). Though both are kits, they're both nice & if my boss ever wanted to sell them to me, I'd pay $300 for the SF and $400 for the Neo...
