All he did was sit around the office anyway - it's not like he did any work.

Thats just not cool. That guy was awesome. At least he had that young dude as his apprentice to take his place.

That makes sense... so the old Maytag guy became one with the Force. And when the young Maytag guy decides he's going to tinker with the fridge just to look busy despite the fact that the fridge ain't never gonna break, the old guy's voice will say, "Use the Force... trust your feelings," and the young guy will go back to sitting around doing nothing like he's supposed to. Cool. :cool:

The news this morning talked more about his role on the ancient TV show, WKRP in Cincinnati than the fact that he was the Maytag man!

The only time I really saw the Maytag guy was at the Maytag store right next to the LaserDisc shop which I went to fairly often back when I was in Dayton. I never really knew that much about him. Still sad that he passed away.
