Hi guys :) I used to post here as "zack_schwartzman" if you're wondering who the hell I am.

I'm selling a brand new, complete and sealed Warzard CPS III kit, everything is sealed including the flyers etc. it even comes in the original capcom shipping box :) will post pics asap. I'm asking for £400 delivered. I am also willing to trade for a jap AES of Ninja Masters

NOTE: "Warzard" is the japanese name for "Red Earth" The game plays in english :)

No offense but I believe this is in the wrong place. Should be under Everything Else. Good luck with the sale.

Sealed means that you don't know if the game works or not, right? And Warzard is one of the games whose battery cannot be replaced...

Now...£400

What can I say...

LOL!!!

Because it never saw a cab from inside its highly possible that it has committed suicide. Boards last much longer if they are in use. That´s all MKL wanted to say, because sometimes people dont know that and it´s for sure a thing to keep in mind for the seller too. I dont think it was meant as an offense, not MKL´s style

I know this belongs to the tech forums and its me again who spams up the thread, but: Why it cant be replaced? I thought in powered-up state you can change the battery of every CPS-3? :spock:

sorry if I seem a little touchy :) well if anyone wants to make an offer feel free. I doubt the battery is dead though, if it is, I'd pay the buyer for a replacement and direct them to a place which offers the service.

The price is absurd to begin with: Fillmoregames sell a complete set for $150, while you're asking $655 (!!!)

The fact that it's sealed is a strong indication that it may not be working, so you should ask less precisely for this reason!

As for the battery: Have you ever replaced the battery on Warzard? Because it's not as easy as on the other CPS3 carts...totally different.

I don't replace any batteries...I said I'd direct the person in the direction of someone who does and pay for the replacement :S like I said, make an offer if you don't agree with the price.

That holds true for later carts. Warzard was the first cps3 game and the way its battery is wired to some components makes the replacement very problematic...

zak: you offer to pay for a battery replacement if the board is dead.. the thing is, once the battery dies, the board is dead FOR GOOD.
a new battery will NOT revive it.

I'm told it's possible to revive :S I would test it if anyone is truly interested and wants to buy it :) but this is the buyers option.

Yup most CPS2 boards will 'commit suicide' they have a battery on board that stores a key for the game (not sure what the key is anyone want to clarify) anyway, when the battery dies the key is erased, and gone. Game will not boot. Apparently Razoola of these forums has a few fixes for games that have done this.

Really though this is rough, and one of the reasons I'm not going to bother with CPS2 games.

uh Warzard is CPS3, which has an even more of a bastard sucide battery then CPS2. Don't be afraid of getting into CPS2 because of the battery issues, its a quick and easy fix if you just replace the battery often enough. Or spend the cash and have Raz replace the chips and your game will last a long time.

Sorry to spam up this thread.

It didn't belong here in the first place. This is the Neo only selling forum, you needed to take this to the Everything Else forum.
