SvC Chaos. A message for players in central New Jersey

Whats up all.

Post Oct 9th when I get my SvC cart I'll probably be bringing the game, my system, and some joysticks over to my local video game store for some Neo Geo fighting action on a 56 inch HDTV.
I'm cool with the owner and I'm always bringing in games to hook up so it would be cool.

Anyway, I'm not sure of the exact date I'd be there with my Neo all day. I gotta make sure its not a day of a tournment at the store.. they're always having tournments be it video games, magic cards, hero clicks, etc etc..
That way the place isnt packed. It'd probably be on a Saturday or Sunday I'd bring my system into the store.

I just wanted to toss the word out there so people know in case they wanna stop buy and get in a few games. I know there is a ton of people on these forums who are in New Jersey.

Anyway, I'll go into more details when I know everything is cool.

Wow good stuff. Where's this place at? Mind posting the store location so I can get an idea about how far I have to drive to make it there?

Sounds like a great idea, just hope the owner doesn't care if a bunch of people show up to play. Although if he had like a "donations" basket or something I wouldn't mind throwing a 5 or 10 spot in there for the guys trouble, especially if we'll be in there for a few hours or something.

Just keep us informed about when you're going to throw this all down.

Wait, you have a local game store that hasn't been driven under by an EB/Gamestop? Where is this?

The store, Game Factory is in Hazlet, New Jersey, about 4 miles from my house.

They stock all the newest stuff and will special order anything such as imports, sound tracks, etc, should you need them.

The store is on Highway 36 South in the Airport Plaza.
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 117, Stay to the left and get on Highway 36, NOT 35.
The store is about 1/4 of a mile down 36.
You'll pass 2 traffic lights. At the first light there will be an Exxon gas station and a Shell gas station.
At the next light will be a cell phone store and the Army Navy store.
Shortly after the second light will be a small grave yard. After the grave yard is Airport Plaza.
Right away in the plaza your see a bowling ally, a KFC, Perkins and a ton of other stuff as well
Game Factory is directly behind the KFC, the KFC is in front of the plaza.

I know there's a big sci-fi convention called icon in april on Long Island. I know a couple of people working there. I can get us a class room and have it for neo-geo games. (it's held in a collage)

Yeah, a big get together would be cool.
I wish I had my own home I'd host the damn party myself.
Like I said though, when ever I plan on stopping by my local store with my system and SVC I'll be sure to let people know so they can stop in and check it out.

That idea for the meet up at this icon convention thing sounds like a cool plan. I'll be there unless its during the last 2 weeks in April because I'll be in Nevada.
