The SNK-Capcom Store will be opening September 29th, which is a week from this monday. Will this promote a little healthy competition for the Neo Store? I hope so. I know Shawn and the Neo Store is the exclusive distributer of new Neo games in the North America (and I give him much thanks for that), but maybe Trieu and crew can provide a little competition and drive some prices down on the used carts.

This could be interesting and great for us Neo gamers:glee:

I am very excited for the SNK-Capcom store to open. I read the thread on SNK-Capcom about the store opening and it may possibly have new sealed US MS1's, AOF3, and many more as well as tons of kits. I can't wait.

They have on their site Replay magazine...been going for a while too. I've never seen it in any UK stores let alone heard of it.

Having seen Trieu's old apartment, he'll have an excellent stock of CPS boards.

As in anything competition is always good for the customer.

I'm hoping Trieu has some Metal Slug large marquees that I can jump on.

I am not going to be excited until he REALLY opens this store.
He has postponed the opening date of this thing a couple
of times before, delaying it about 3 months :shame: :oh_no:

My thoughts exactly. I can not wait to check out his collection of cps2 games.

But i think this store will be great for the gaming community.

If it is him that's selling up, I kind of wonder why he's held on this long...

whoa-

why would the b-man do that? I thought he was never going to sell.

If he did, that is indeed news.

Wow, forst news I have about this! I'm looking forward to see the prices on some arcade stuff.

By the way, I find amazing this find of brand new rare AES games (I bet too_short is going to jump on them, no matter who he gets through :D, that's why he can't wait ), I expect a lot of blood between all the AES especu... (sorry, I meant "collectors" ) to get some of that gems.

By the way, I have a question to anybody who is willing to spend a lot of money on any of that sealed games: will you open them to play them, or not? Just keep'em sealed for you viewing pleasure? Or try to keep'em expecting a sale for more money in the near future?

Really, I'm just curious. Absolutely no offense intended to AES buyers, you have your right to do what you want with your money. But I just would like to know that.

Question: I didn't think home carts were sealed...anyone want to tell me if I'm wrong or not?

I've got a few sealed homecarts (now opened, however). They had a clear neo-geo logo sticker on the side of the case and had plastic wrap sealing the whole thing.

Old-style cases had clear sealing stickers with a neo logo on them. There's no seal on snaplocks.

So the only thing is the word of whoever is selling that those U11's, MS1's, MS2's, AOF3, and SW are new is that he hasn't played them?

As far as I know no official snaplock release got stickered. Sheets of sealing stickers have surfaced from time to time though, so it may have been someone that picked up some of those trying to pass off his snaplocks to beginners as new with the aid of the stickers. "Oh, gee, it was all scuffed up when you got it? I didn't know, it was factory sealed, really!"

Lithy: Yup, that and you can look for "insertion marks" from the pins on the cart rubbing on the pins of the socket. Eh, that's why I just buy, good or mint carts, and only from people I trust like Jono or Shawn, there's a scam a minute in the homecart market. :(

MVS Kits........Yummy..... I hope he is prepaired for all the $$$$$ headed his way!

Im glad he has delayed the opening of his store, it just gives me a little more time to save some cash.

Good things come to those who wait.;)
