Are there any Samurai Shodown players in SoCal that want to hook up for some old school gaming? My friend Sung and I are bitter rivals dating back to when Samurai Shodown 1 was originally released. SS is still one of the funnest, most intense games around. Our sessions usually go for 3-5 hours. We play about once a week.
Looking for new and old Samurai challengers that want to test their skills against us or learn what makes SS one of the greatest games to ever grace the Neo. The characters I play are Genan, Haohmaru, Nakoruru, Earthquake, Charlotte and Hanzo. My adversary plays Ukyo, Haomaru, Wanfu, Galford, Hanzo, Jubei and Kyoshiro.
We both have Neos. I live in Anaheim Hills, CA and he lives down in Aliso Viejo, CA (south orange county). I guess that makes us accessible for ppl in the Los Angeles/ Orange County/ San Diego areas.
My GF and his wife hang out together when we game so if ya got one of those feel free to bring her along. We can also game at your house if thats better for you.
You don't need to be a samurai expert to play with us (Though it would be nice) but you do need some proficiency at fighting games so we can show ya the ropes
We're both really competitive without being @ssholes about it. We battled to a draw the last time around.
We both have SS1/2/3 and I have SS4. We play SS1/2 mostly but we can play either game that suits ya.
