Hello,
Right off the bat this is going to be alittle long, so please bare with me.
I just bought my AES Neo Geo system off of Ebay, with 5 Games for $358.00 shipped from Japan. I just Paypal'd the money to the guy and should be recieving it within the next 2 weeks.
I've always wanted this system since i was charged a quarter a game by my neighbor when I was twelve years old (he made a funkin' killing! jerk! lol)
So i ran across some old stuff in one of my childhood art portfolio's and found a 'figure out the puzzle and win all these great prizes...' You guys know, where you could win all the video game systems in demand at the time. not to mention a kick a$$ stereo system and projection screen tv...
Anyways!! lol
I seen that there was a picture of the Neo Geo system on there and was like... funk it, I loved it as a kid, I want it!
SO here i am now...
I am a completist, not to mention a perfectionist when it comes to collecting things. But i noticed that alot of these games are still really pricey, not to mention highly sought after, and when they hit the market in their low avaliabilty they are swooped up. ( I love collecting!)
But i would like to meet some other people on here, Preferably guys from Ohio, So that i can trade or buy items from. Also if your a dealer or what not I can maybe trade services in which i work for cheaper prices on games and accesories. (I work in a Sports shoe and clothing store where i am a manager) not to mention i know enough people at car audio and electronic stores. Or hell just go out for a few drinks with some local peeps. (I LOVE Blue Moon Ale! lol)
I used to work at Trading Zone/Video Trader in Columbus,OH . There was a couple guys that used to come in all the time that were into Neo Geo cart systems, so if those guys are on this forum site and someone knows of these two gentlemen, they offered to get me started 2 years ago with items please pass this along.
