I just own two home carts yet and both have a specific scent ...

anyone else noticed this ?

Neo carts smell like teen spirits!;)

Anyway I'm not a fan of Nirvana:buttrock: .
The way that carts smell remembers me of my childhood days:) .

I love that plastic/vinyl/silicon Neo AES cart smell! Definitely unique and very addicting for some reason!

None of my MVS carts feature that smell...just the home carts! :D

Actually I was very young too since I was 7 years old at the time;) . Anyway that smell has a 90's feeling in it, you can argue it is a very old thing by the way it smells!:lol:

Its just a combination of smells from any residual flux on the circuit board, the ABS plastic, and of the IC's used as well as the odors the Japanese workers had that day.

Sniff the inside of the AES cart! That's Japanese air! Ahhhhhh!

All of my JPN carts smell too!!! Is that 1990's smell? I didnt like the smell at all. Iam glad my US carts dont smell like that well not all of them. :D

In 1990 I was 10 years old!

careful thoue, it causes seizures.


(kinda off topic) for some odd reason,some of my old genesis carts used to smell like fried chicken when i first had em O.O
