SSF2x Help

Ok, the computer owns me in this game like no other. I was playing on level 4 today (CPS2 vers.) and just totally getting destroyed all over the damn place. So I get pissed and switch it to level 1, and it almost exactly the same as level 4. WTF? It just seems the comp. does more damage than you, has more priority, and throws have more range. What the hell am I doing wrong? I HATE THE BASTARD COMPUTER!!!1

Also, I was playing as Cammy and getting murdered by Ryu, and when I got dizzied, instead or stars, there were what looked to be mini grim reapers over my head. I had never seen that before. Anyone know what triggers that?

Also, the music in this game = :drool_2:

How tough would it be to track down an original OST?

They appear randomly, as do a set of angels, and I believe ducks if I'm not mistaken.

Wish I could help you with the CPU AI, but it is just a bitch really. Cheats its ass off, especially DeeJay :very_ang:

Welllll I know you asked for OST but if you want a nice (legit) AST, try to track down the PC CD-ROM version, it has a AST that plays like a normal CD (well with a data track). I got my PC version boxed and new for $15, and though it won't work on my PC (pure DOS only), for the price I have a killer AST (one of my fave CDs I own in fact).

Hey Dan, I downloaded that game and it ran fine in XP.

Although it isnt a very good port...........

YOU'RE not a very good port!

Erm yeah, I can't get it to work on any of the 3 comps with 98SE in DOS mode fully. No matter.

However, a lot of times they won't jump forward, they'll just jump straight up. If this is the case, just throw another one. I can get almost perfects on everybody with this tactic, save Blanka because he has a weird jump that I have to time just right.

T.Hawk is the only guy I hate fighting. When I would fight him with Akuma, he would wail on me. I had to revert to being a scrub and air fireball him to death. His fly into the air and and then to the ground would kill me everytime. I never got any better at fighting him. Maybe now I will be better considering I was only like 15 when I played it.

yes i remember spending many hours on the 3do version and being wowed by how tough this game was compared to for example the other street fighters of the time such as alpha and apha 2 on the saturn.
T Hawk has always been my nemesis and Ryo is hard as well. Ive just got the snes version and it is amazing. There is nothing like street fighter on SNES . I actually prefer it to the PSX collection version. And the battle tournament feature on the snes version is just the icing on the cake. I cant remember if the PSX version had that or not???
