I finally beat all the stages in the Weapon Master mode. Boy that took awhile. Too bad you have to go back and make more money to unlock things that are still left in the different chapters. Anybody else beat all the chapters? I still need to unlock more. I'll never finish this game.

The stages where I am forced to use Berserker, Assassin, and Reptile Dude are just annoying as HELL!... I mostly use Ivy, Cervantes, and cheap but cute Talim...

P.S. Talim looks like Natalie Wood... :p

Yeah, I've had everything unlocked for some time now. Lizard Man is such a bitch to get. If you run short on cash after finishing the two run throughs then do the one where you are chained to four (or was it three?) opponents. You can get ass loads of gold that way. I'm not sure how hard it is for some characters, but you can just God Whisper => Ivy Lick your way through it with Ivy quite easily.

Yep, I spent the first three days since getting the game at launch playing nothing but WMM. Took me 18 hours of game time, but it was worth it. I was really glad to see they brough back this mode, because it was one of my favorites from Soul Blade, and I hated when they took it out in Soul Calibur.

I still have to do some other stuff outside of WMM to complete my collection data, but that may take a while, since school has taken up all my time lately.

I've gotten all the 'important' stuff (costumes, characters and weapons) everything else is just fluff. I thought it was particularly annoying to have to go through those dungeon stages twice especially those REALLY long ones. I finished WMM about 2 weeks ago, haven't picked the game up since... probably because i've recently got PN03 and Disgaea..

How many versions of survival mode do you *really* need??

Yeah going through 2 dungeons got annoying. The game overall is great though. I got the Gamecube version and haven't looked back since.

Ya know, the music is a great part of the game. I enjoy the track in the art gallery area of the game. I wonder if that is on the soundtrack. Does anybody know if this song is on the limited edition hint book they sell in the stores?

I never found the weapon master mode to be that difficult. I mean compared with the quest mode in Vitural FIghter 4 EVO, the weapon master mode is a cakewalk. I found it to be more long and boring, especially when at the end when you just have to sit there and gather money to unlock everything.

I agree, once I unlocked Seung Mina, I pretty much kicked everybody out of the ring with no problems. I think they should have used the WMM to focus on the nuaces of the game and learning to play with skill instead of just trying to win at any cost.

Actually you can go through the arcade mode and collect money as well. Not sure if the amt you get is level dependent but I know you can get some gold that way.

well at least with Soul Calibur 2, there is alot more stuff you can end up getting for your fighters compared to VF4 Evo. I like the idea of having a choice of 10 weapons per character.

Ya, I am defintly a fan of having 10 weapons to choose from. But I wish they had also added more costumes or costume options, like the option to add a hat or something, like in EVO. I guess I am just a spoiled gamer who sees something cool in one game and then I want it in everything:p
