I emailed Brezza today, with an inquiry as to the employment of Satoshi Hashimoto, the voice actor who portrays Terry Bogard. Their response:

Dear Sir,

Unfortunately, he is not working for Brezza.

Regards,
BrezzaSoft Corporation.

My question: Who does the voice in KOF 2k1???

I think that the original voice of one of the milestones of the SNK universe will be kept. Perhaps that the new SNK company will keep him. For KOF 2K1, I think that eolith use it even if I have never a video with terry.
I have always thought that the voice was american one because when don't hear the japanese accent.

It's just one of the best acting jobs ever from an SNK voice actor (another being the NAM 1975 guy, from what I understand).

You're right. But there are a lot of good voices in the Neo universe. That's with this kind of details that SNK became one of most famous game makers

What the hell? How would they drop him; he's done the voice for both Terry and Kim for ages.

Anyway, they've got enough old voice samples to last them for another few years.

Well, chances are, the voice acting in a game could be negotiated based on a "contract" of sorts. It makes little business sense to pay a man a salary based on the fact that some 20 different samples of him are used in the game.

They probably paid the actor a lump sum, and for a week or so, he spent some time in a recording studio. He's technically not employed, but they get to use his voice.
