XNeo-1 whos using it?

Hey guys I just got an XNeo-1 in today and I have to say this little product really kicks ass!!

For those of you who dont know what it is it is an external mod for your AES that gives you sterio, S-Video standard 8 pin and RGB outs!!

This gadegt is really awesome and I was just wondering how many actually have one of these!!

GA,

I got two..I use one for my neo geo and the other for my Genesis 1. Works great. I have compared the s-video mods with it and they look exactly the same.Jeff did mention once that on certain systems it wont look good because some models of the neo geo output weak RGB, but mine looks fantastic.

The XNEO-1 doesn't have stereo output since it's not getting stereo input from the Neo's A/V jack.

On older Neo boards, the picture will be darker than on newer boards. You can of course can account for this when doing the internal mod. You can't correct this with the XNEO-1, not without modifying it.

I do use an XNEO-1 though, to test systems that come in before I open them -- to make sure they are functional. If someone doesn't want to have the mods done internally, this is a good alternative, although you still will be missing out on the debug bios :)

I have a replicate of it, it is based on new video chip and has RGB gain control so on older Neo, you WILL NOT get a dark picture!

I would say this is better than the XNEO-1 since XNEO is based on the CXA1145P.
