Question about Garou MOTW MVS intro....

Hi..
If anyone here is familiar with the MVS cart of Garou MOTW, I noticed a few things and was wondering if they were "normal."
Ok, I've noticed 2 different intros to the game. I've had them both come up when I started the game...
The first one I got was a little pictorial thing that says something like "Certainly they existed... There are winners, no losers here..." yada yada yada... And the spash screen was all black in the background... Then, I cleaned the cart (and took a little splinter thing off a part of the contact (not the copper colored things, but the whitish part...) and popped it back in and the intro now was "SNK" in white on a black screen followed by a pan-zoom in the city and then Rock Howard, followed by like, pics of all the characters. Then the splash screen was bluish in the background...
Then, I decided to turn it back on and let the intro run. So it did. And once it got done with the "Demonstration" part, I got the "Neo Geo Giga Power" thing, with the Neo Geo music, which I don't get when I start it up initially, then I get the "Winner's Don't Use Drugs" screen. Then the intro went back into the "Certainly they existed..." one. Now, after turning the machine off and on several times it seems to be staying as that intro. Then I let it run again and it did the same thing and switched to the Rock Howard in the city one...
Basically, what I'm wondering is, is this not normal, did I mess up the cart, or does it "save" which intro you start and each time you insert the cart or turn on the machine, it starts at a different intro? Also, it may have changed when I turned the machine off and on once when I didn't take out the cart.. Not sure though. Is this normal...?

Just tested mine
Each time I switched on the certainly they existed intro comes up.onmly get the rock intro the second time.

Once I let it run through, and it goes to the one intro, if I turn off my cab and turn it back on, it starts at the last intro played... Then if I take it in/out I think it -can- change... Lee--if you let it run through the first time, wait till' demo ends, then it goes to the 2nd intro, and you turn it off then, does it start off with the 2nd intro? Anyone else?

BTW kinda confused now because last 2 posts were total opposite of each other <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

Ok just did it and you are correct, i let it play the second intro then turned it of and when i turned it back on the second intro showed first <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I always get the "Certainly, they existed..." intro upon firing up my MVS. After that finishes it takes me to the title screen, then does a demonstration, then it takes me through the city Rock/Terry intro. Now, if I fire it up and watch the "Certainly, they existed..." intro for a couple seconds then hit the game select button until I come back to the game again (skipping over the 3 other games) it will start off with the CITY intro.

There's nothing wrong with your cart. It is impossible to "damage" it in a way that would cause the intros to switch anyway <IMG SRC="smilies/tickled.gif" border="0">

You would have to reprogam the game...

I have the US Dreamcast version and it does the same thing. So there souldn't be anything wrong with your cart.
