First of all let me just say, I am not a full time neo-freak. I got an AES and three games. Well now four games.

I went to a flea market in Ohio (Chesapeke or something like that) when I stumbled across some old games in this box. A lot of them where NES games and only three NG game from what I could see. And then I saw it. METAL SLUG for AES. I've bought it for 7.00! If you don't beleve me then fine. I haveing a hard time believing it to.

No bullshiting NSX-T. Yoiu can find a lot of things in Flea markets and other places. Like I said, money is tight. So i am forced to cut back on luxuries such as Digital Cameras. (Sounds like bullshit but you gotta believe me!)

Sorry man, but this is the Neo-Geo community.

We hear rumors and stories ALL THE TIME, and each time we need proof.

Wish there was a way but until I get a pic you can say I am full of it, or have blind faith. Your choice. But for now all I know is that I've got another game to my small collection.

I live in Ohio. Which flea market? I've heard a lot of good things about this one called Turtle Creek...

Also, it is possible to find good deals such as these. It all has to do with people who no absolutely nothing about games and their actual values. Also, it's due to luck. My biggest score was getting both Dragon Warrior 3 and 4 for $6..complete and MINT! One other time, at the same store BTW, I came across Castlevania: Gekka no Yasou Kyoku (Noturne in the Moonlight) on Sega Saturn for $15. Deals are possible. You just have to be in the right place at the right time.

I got a decent score at a Holiday Bazaar they had at the mall up here this Christmas. I got a sealed copy of Faxanadu for NES. The woman had bought it for one of her sons years ago, and now the kids are both in college and mom and dad found it when they were packing stuff up to move. Seems that they hid it so well from their kids, even they forgot about it.

Thus the reason I gave away my bare Faxanadu NES cart in Unrelated Topics recently.

I was just drifting but I think the name was Cheasapeake or something like that. It was a round the Ohio river. Yep I got all NG games cheap and my AES was from a pawn shop in Pennsylvania.

If you want to prove it to me 100% (I'm 60/40 "don't believe you"), take a picture of it with a current newspaper and write on that news paper: 'Proof that DSS isn't a liar'

Then I'll believe you (it's not that bad of a request, rather easy, really).

I'm not an expert on Neo systems, and I don't work for !Arcade!, but from what I've heard (and I'm speaking from experience here), the Phantom-1 is very "picky" about how it's put in. This is very annoying, and takes a good deal of trial and error. Also, the connectors in the slots have to be very tight (I would recommend getting new slots; I think it only--ymmv on this--costs $80), or else it won't work. I had new slots (I did a fairly large deal; a Phantom-1, a system mod, and new slots for Last Blade 2 AES JPN and US$25) and it tool me three tries to get it to go. So, you might need new slots, or if your slots are fairly new/tight, you might need to keep trying and be patient.

Hope this helps somewhat.
