Hello, all!
I have been a frequent visitor (around several times a day) for quite a while now; Throughout my time in the shadows, I've seen many a topic that should have warranted an expedient response on my part. Alas, my non-member status posed a significant barrier on my ability to share personal insight. Thus, I figured that I may as well bite the proverbial bullet and claim a stature of membership.
I have been a rabid Neo Freak (the good kind) since lo my early days of 6th or 7th grade. This past year, I was finally able to purchase a Neo Geo. It's a Japanese Home Cart system, modded with A/V input, making for a most gratifying experience on the Sharp 27" TV. I currently own 7 games: Joy Joy Kid, 3 Count Bout (my only Euro cart; the others are Japanese), King of Fighters '94, Fatal Fury Special, Art of Fighting 1 and 2, and Samurai Spirts 2 (my latest acquisition, being a Christmas present. It was brand new, never opened!). I also own a Neo Pocket Color with Metal Slug First Mission, Pac Man and Samurai Shodown! 2. My collection also claims numerous Neo ports spanning several systems. Other arcade hardware includes a pinball machine, Space Odyssey, by Williams.
My immediate reason for joining (as opposed to just lingering around the board anonymously) is to write up some reviews of games that have as of yet not been covered. I hope to be a regular on the board; I was years ago on Neo Alec's site. Thanks for enduring my rants! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
