I’m working nights, thus I sleep during the day. Sleep occasionally comes hard now that summer seems to actually taking hold; the sun streams through the gaps in my blinds casting rays of light in an other words darken room.

It’s 3pm (think of it as 3am, for the ‘day people’) the cat has jumped on my head for the third time, apparently chasing beams of light. As I drift in and out of consciousness I hear a commotion at my door, the cat immediately converts into attack mode, to which I promptly ignore for I have seen this animal chase its own tale – how could you trust an animals instincts when it has shown on numerous occasions how daft it can be?

I stumbled down the stairs fighting off grogginess, forcing my body to work, when it was obvious that it much preferred the coziness of the nice warm bed.

I opened the door to the inviting smile of the postal delivery girl.

Now, especially recently, I have been receiving various packages (read: video games), and I am expecting a few more packages in the next week or so. I get excited about all the packages that I get, as would anyone, they are video games after all. But there was one delivery that I was especially waiting for, I purchased it from a member of this forum. That was shipped on Monday (I was kept well informed through PM’s) now it is/was Thursday, was hard to contemplate the possibility that this could be that package.

Anyhow, the box was a fair size, but still……..I signed for the package and thanked the postal worker. One last thing to do; I pulled out my trusty Leathman and proceeded to wreak havoc on the nefarious packing tape keeping me from what promises to keep me from painful withdrawal of an expensive but overly satisfying addiction.

And there it was, wrapped in big pink bubble wrap:

My new ‘Golden calf’, the Holy Grail that I’ve longed to worship……

My newly purchased MV-1…….

Other than my 3 NGPC’s, this is my first, full size Neo Geo, I spent a lot of time deciding what rout to take, mostly from reading this forum, I picked the MVS for various reason and am completely satisfied with the end result.

I created this very longwinded thread as a thank you for a very helpful and generous member of this forum (thanks for the pre-wired JAMMA connecter). He was extremely helpful to the fact that this would be my first full size Neo Geo, but also my first purchase on this forum.

So, in conclusion: AMMAZING SELLAR = Daisuke Jigen

This could be the TV Movie of the week.

@Jigen: If I got a MV-1 could you mod it like the one you just sold?

Thanks.

P.S. Congrats, logic. :)

Nice bit of writing by the way, quite eloquent and sounded professional. Are you an aspiring writer?

She sounded to be like the sweet icing on the MV-1 cake. So how did you really "open her package"?
