I just purchased a NOVA arcade syestem from Massyetms.com. It comes with two 6-button arcade sticks. Fine.
Here is the concern that a board member at another forum brought to my attention.
Only other oddity is that I got my Super Nova built to play Street Fighter. That means 6 buttons. 6 buttons is not a Jamma standard, and you will need to attach a harness for the extra buttons to function. My Super Nova came with such a harness pre-made, and you'll notice that there's a spot on the CPS2 'B' board just for this harness to attach. Super easy. However, with my setup, playing any 4 button game is a chore. Jamma standard only allows for 3 game buttons, so for games like D&D that are 4 buttons, or ANY Neo Geo fighter, you'll have to do some rewiring to get the 4th button to function. I don't know what you're getting with your Super Nova, and I got mine back in '97 so the company could have completely changed something by now so that there's no trouble, but I'm not sure. You seem to want NeoGeo stuff so I'll assume that you're getting a 4 button setup.
I'm worried sick that this 6-button stick won't work with the Geo games.
Any advice or help with this matte would be greatly appreciated.
