Dog-Tag only Games - Expert Opinions needed

Considering the following dog-tag only quintett

Alpha Mission 2
Burning Fight
8Man
King of the Monsters
Super Baseball 2020

a couple of questions arose:

-- According to the Master List, AM2 + KotM were released on 7.1.91 like many other titles, the majority being non-dog-tag-titles. To me that seems incredibly inconsistent releasing games with such different designs (dog tag and early non dog tag) on the SAME DAY. Explanations? Suggestions? Opinions?

-- About the five DT titles in general: Were they released in Europe as well as DT versions or weren`t they released in Europe at all? I mean why should SNK Europe let nice games like Burning Fight or AM2 slip by? Especially when they belong to the start lineup. Afterwards as we all know SNK Europe did even more than SNK USA, releasing English Double Dragon, Ultimate 11 and Kizuna. So: Was the DT really US-only?

I am not a 100% sure,about 90% sure that the DOG TAG design was for US only.It was a BIGGER BADDER BETTER promotion of the system they were doing in the US.Upon failure of the campaign,a large stock of those dog tag titles were sold @ a couple of outlets @ CLOSEOUT prices (talk about paradise between late 92-93 into early 94 @ SOFTWARE ETC. COMP USA and two others).
