Neo Geo front loading CD unit serial # 3

I just met a guy over the phone who is a serious collector that has just ran into some very bad luck .

He broke his back and he is out of work and cant pay his taxes so he might lose his house to the government .

He is painfully going to try selling some of his games and systems to pay the taxes .


He claims to have a front loading Neo Geo CD system MINT CONDITION BOXED COMPLETE with only 10 hours of play and it bears the ultra low serial # OF 3 ....THE THIRD ONE MADE .

I have told him I would try to find out the value of such a jem .

This is not a joke this is a serious mater .

I need solid answers here folks what would be the value of this unit .

Probably not all that much (if at all) more than a normal unit.

I wouldnt pay anything more for it than I would for any other. I mean its not like they changed them in mid run some way or other ,therefore I really dont see how it would be worth more than any other unit.

You hardly ever see a complete front loading NEO CD in mint condition. The serial number is not so important in my opinion. I would wager its worth $400.

Totally agree here.

i could see a more obsessive collector paying, maybe, $50 or so on top of that for the 3rd one.

Less then 300 push. Its not worth that much to me, or many others. Its not at the level of rarity where it becomes obsessive.

I doubt that $300/400 is enough to pay his taxes tickled
