Ideas For New/Revised Fighting Games For The Neo-Geo...

While I think the Neo could stand to get some more games outside of the fighting genre, it must be realized that this genre is in fact the bread and butter of the system. That being said, what ideas would you like to see realized in new or revised fighting games on the Neo?

Have the KOF tournament take place every other year instead of every year, thus giving the developers more time to work on it? Continue the Fatal Fury series in the new tradition set by Garou: Mark Of The Wolves rather than going back to the regular Fatal Fury set-up?

I would like to see two new fighting series, focused around new characters, at least for the most part. Specifically, I would like to see a series covering the early histories of Geese and Krauser, each having their own seperate series, their Street Fighter Zeroes as it were.

They were not always at the top of the heap, so why not give us a pre-history series where you get to play them as they claw their way to the top of the dogpile? Perhaps they started out as "good guys" like Terry Bogard, or have they held their current dispositions their entire life?

Instead of making it always a tournament they should try making it like Alpha 2 at leat for one KOF. You know how it wasn't an official tournament but really people settling scores. M.Bison wasn't the last boss for everybody, their rival was their last boss. That way you don't have people left in the dark about who really won the tourney(cuz there is no tourney) and people won't get pissed cuz its always won by the main characters. Then you won't get left in the dark about the endings either and the endings will make more sense.

Edit:I forgot to say I also agree with that Idea you have about a sidestory type game except my idea was something along the lines of King of Fighters:Kyo.

I want to see some new Magical Drop games or something. Puzzle games need to come back.

KOF-I don't know what to do with this series. If they don't actually step up with 2k3 i.e. actually redo the game then I think it should end. They should split it up into around 2 games with some of the fighters in their own games. Like one focusing on Kyo and Iori and the other on all those damn clones.

Garou- I want Garou Special and the Garou 2. Simple as that. I really don't want to see Playmore go back to the old ways. I'm really hoping for it to play like a mix of Real Bout and Mark of the Wolves. Also more characters.

That's about all I care enough about...

It would be great if they revived the Savage Reign/Kizuna series and up it to the glory of the Fatal Fury series, maybe by adding a Real Bout series to it.

Also, they should make more Fatal Fury games with Alfred in them, and probably have him in a KOF.
