Ganryu - WTF - Green blood?

I am just sitting here playing Ganryu for the first time and very_ang WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THE GREEN BLOOD? oh_no

This game came out in 1999 and has GREEN BLOOD and no option to change it? THAT SUCKS!! angry

i love the game tho, it's quite fun! But yeah i was amazed too at the lack of blood. Is there any options you can change with a debug bios ? Stuff that you can't without ?

Ganryu is total crap. A joke. Looks like a sub-Genesis quality game to me. Zero animation, cheap backgrounds, horrible gameplay . . . hard to believe this even came out on MVS at all. And not hard to believe they passed on the home cart version.

Hm, it's not a very polished game, but it's alright. I don't think the gameplay is bad at all, just not polished. You can find ways to take advantage of it. In fact, I can easily one credit Ganryu using a few cheap tricks I discovered. I don't know if anyone else knows of them or even cares...
The graphics do look like an early Neo-Geo game. I'm glad it got released though. It's not like there is an overabudance of this type of game on the system. It's really like a slightly worse version of Ninja Gaiden. As a person who loves games primarily for the game itself, the bad graphics don't bother me too much...

Green blood, yeah, pretty lame there. I don't know what the deal is with that.

I was sitting playing Samurai Showdown 2 in english and green blood was getting thrown everywhere. Changed the language setting to Jap and the blood came pouring out in red once again

It doesn't work for Ganryu. On my motherboard (asian board), there is only USA, and OTHER. Both gives green blood.

Well mine is a US bios 4 slot and same problem - green fucking blood - WTF

I don't know maybe the makers of Ganryu were on weed and were thinking of green blood because they were so stoned.

I recently played through this game and I thought the blood was red? Maybe I just wasn't paying close attention...
