Yes, a high-end team of top scientist finally succeded in isolating the disease.
Its dreadful name:
AEDS - Advance Entertainement Dependency Syndrome
Typical synthoms:
1) Great appreciation, to the limit of the whorship, of a so-called 'videogame home console system' known as 'Neo-Geo'
2) Compulsive need of purchasing its old and outdated, yet extra-expencive games.
3) Total loss of real money value when dealing about Neo-Geo home cartidges, such as thinking $325 for new realease are 'fair prices' to pay, or $500 for some rare titles are 'bargains'.
4) Quitting any other expences, first other hobbies, then even more serious thing, just for put the Neo-Geo as top priority in the 'to buy list'.
5) Spending insane amount of time collecting all kind of information on the system and the games.
6) Starting appreciating crappy games just because running on the Neo-Geo, finding good aspect even in the crappier product.
7) Starting thinking 'just a little more than a hundred of titles are not that much to collect them all after all'.
8) Jumping on extreme online dealing, sometime risky and all, just to find rare carts.
9) To think the word 'mint' has the most exciting sound in the world.
10) Stay up all night to sniper and auction for a Neo-Geo cart.
11) Becoming extremely anal about stupid issues like 'baggies', 'seals', 'ankeeto kaado', or even 'unswapped parts'.
As for now, there are NO known remedies for the disease.
Also unknow is the way of contamination as well of the origin of the thing.
An anaerobic virus maybe? Originated from the game system itself?
May be.
Scientist are still working are on these top issues still in need to be clarified.
Be sure we will update you as other news will follow!
