Common, I know there's some loony toons among you out there who pre-ordered it at that price. Anyway it's understandable if you're an arcade operator. BUT!!! what I want to know are those who pre-ordered it just for themselves for private use. I just want to know how much richer Shawn is going to get! :D

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if no one has given that the MVS prices have been dropping like a rock just months after release. Only arcade operators would want to buy it right away, and I don't know of any who post here.

If I owned an arcade (with Briggsy as my salve labour-locked in back room and chew loudly) I'd buy it and earn enough coin to be able to sell the kit early to another operator and still make a profit. Then, I would buy one here for a super low price (relatively) when they get there.

My friend Jon is opening a comic book and anime store in August and there has been a little thought on putting an MVS machine in there for kicks. We'd prolly buy it as soon as his store opened given that NOWHERE around here is going to have it.

i could get a decent used car for $1850, and getting a car is much higher on my priorities list than a game. hell i doubt anyone would preorder it. $1850 can buy a family of seven groceries for a month, i mean that's not chump change. so who in their right mind would put it all into one game? even one game with as much of a stigma about it as snk vs. capcom?

My car ain't even worth that much! I have a 1990 Chevy Cavalier and it's only worth $2000 in mint condition, and mine has a big dent in the bumper and part of left headlight is missing.(it still works)

As cool as it would be to own this game sooner rather than later, fuck that. I won't pay more the $300 for a game at this point, and even then that is pushing it. I paid $300 for KoF 2K1 and 2K2 to get it sooner, now the prices are a bit lower. Yeah, I got my money's worth out of them for how much I played, but the prices on MVS drop so fast some times that you'd have to be on crack or something to plop down ~$2000 on a game, since 6 months from now it'll likely be in the $300-$500 range.
