Hey everybody. I was reading that BAOBOY was thinking of having a neo party near Baltamore this summer.
I thaught, since Otakon is this August why not have a small neo-gathering there?
For those of you that don't know Otakon is the biggest Anime convention on the east cost.
But not many people go to Otakon to watch cartoons. Because they have a videogame room the size of a highschool gym. eek! buttrock
You have to see it to beleave it. It was an awesome site to see every type of game on every system being played at once. And constant videogame tournys round the clock. If sombody wanted to have a TekkenTag tourny for the hell of it they just had one.
In the room I met a really nice guy that had 2 AES Systems and an MVS with a Samuari Showdown game set to free play. (if your reading this HELLO!) mr_t
It was really great to see a REAL Neo-Geo for once and not a game running on a computer. oh_no
So how many of you guys on the east cost would think about going to this? I know it's kinda late because Otakon starts on August 8th. If I was around I would have mentioned it before.
I know AE86 (nice Inital D name BTW) and Porshapwr said they were going.

I'm not sure if they just let you bring in a system of your choice and they then let you hook it up to a TV, or if you have to bring everything in order to play. You can e-mail them at videogaming@otakon.com and hopefully they will let us know more. I don't have my MVS and SuperGun YET so I don't know what I will bring.
I have two of my friends that will be working as staff members so maybe they could help us out.
Maybe next year we can get more people involved and we can even have a Neo-Geo Pannel there, if they can have a DDR pannel, we should be able to do a Neo-Geo one.
