erm the power dunk was in 99!u had to do a shoulder charge first (HCF+K) then do a dragon punch with kick !! 99 is waaaaayyyyyyy better than 2K for the one reason all the super moves have 2 levels Red energy or max and both takin away the red energy kille the game!!

Ive heard 2k was a let down as well, and that 99 was better (i didnt like 99, so I could care less for both)

2000: Best character art (look at those winner screens!), story lines for every team, very cool stages (desert storm!), hot new additions (Kula, Lin), a charismatic boss (Zero), 70+ strikers, striker combos, the best KoF winner jingle ...
98: no new characters, no story, no strikers, recycled sound, mediocre stages, the same lame & ultra-cheap boss Rugal ...

Do you know why I like 98 more ?
Cuz there is no strikers, no new characters like Lin (Oh man he reminds me of someone from MK) Kula (What bring you here icy girl, go to marvel) Bao (I still don't know if he is a boy or girl... Also I don't like kids like him) I hate clones idea, every year they repeat the same thing, K' clones... Iori doesn't have his Maiden Masher and his Orochi's skill...etc And I know there are many guys will agree with me, give me a hell yeah... At least Rugal is much better than Zero... Though

Fran - might be true that I´m slowly transforming from gamer to collector but I still don`t like `98 at all. First thing that turns me off is the shitty cover art. If a game already starts like this ...

96 was a cool game too... Geese, Krauser, Mr. Big, Goenitz at the same time... 4 bosses in one gaem, it's really cool

As far as the stages are concerned, IMO the desert storm, the shopping street and the plant are some of the best KoF stages - not to mention the cooool icy Kula versions. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
