Has any one here ever ordered a candy from www.arcade-infinity.com ?

I want to get a candy cab but the 2 seperate times I have e-mailed them with questions they havent replied.

As a secondary question does anyone know of other websites that sell candy cabs?

(is this thread in the wrong topic? I can't tell anymore)

Bad communication, great cabs. I bought my candy cab from them and they really do go into "radio silence" after a purchase...but, you'll get your stuff and a tracking number eventually...at least, that was my experience. I'd buy replacement sticks from them if they'd ever answer my emails :) .

I got my cab from them. I love it, the monitor is clear and bright, and the machine has played perfectly since I got it.

As for arcade-infinity, they were slow to respond to E-mail and they quoted me shipping prices that were about half of what I actually ended up paying. I'm pretty sure they quoted for a business, so make double sure the shipping quote you get is for a residence.

I think that was an honest mistake though, and my candy cab is beautiful! Good luck!

check the press releases on the english version of playmore's site. I think they are bootleg sellers...

I could be wrong tho...

I agree, they are cool in my book. It is best to go there if at all possible to pick out the cabinet you want. They are cool to talk to also.

Got both my cabinets there as well.

Do you remember how much shipping was? I'm not far from you and i was thinking about ordering a cab if the shipping wasn't too much.

to mark of the wolves:about shipping, the first time i got one,it was around $175...but the next two cabinets (dfferent times)were only $120 and $135!? i guess it matters whether or not its business or residential as the first one was sent to a business.or maybe i just got a discount beacause i bought from him before.(i thought it made more since that residential delivery would cost more than a business one,o well)anyways,to clarksville,i would think youd have more than enough with $200. -goodluck

Bought my candy from them aswell , I have also gotten a few pcb's and a couple of japanese cabinets for other people through them

Great guys to deal with , but yeah their email responsesto people leave alot to be desired ,although I have never had that issue myself.

Unless you find a candy from a private seller I think they are the only guys in the US importing and selling them.

They are bootleggers. That is why they are one of the companies playmore has filed a lawsuit against. A few years ago a bought a last blade mvs cart from them and since the lawsuit came up I had to open up my cart to check. Let me just say, it was eprom heaven. As far as their cabinets go, i really don't know. You might as well just buy from a more reliable source or just go to an auction instead. Once a bootlegger, always a bootlegger.

You my friend, are an idiot. Arcade-Infinity might sell at the most, 10 carts a year. They do not buy them to re-sell them. They buy their mvs carts to use in there arcade, and sell the older ones when they get new ones.

AND they were not slapped with the lawsuit because they were selling them, They had a couple of bootlegg games in their cabinets, thats it.

Arcade-Infinity is NOT a bootlegger.

Amazing, when did the hardware bootlegging start?

Is this possible?

Hey Neo Freaks,

Yep, I recently bought from them. As you see I'm up here in Alaska. I emailed them a bunch of times and finally Jack Tao emailed me back and quoted me a price of $399 for a Super Neo 29 Candy Cabinet and a additional $50 to crate it up. I went through Blue Freight and paid $200 to ship it up here to me. The Cabinet works great, all I had to do was plug in my MV-1 Slot & Hyper Neo Geo Boards and everything worked great. It came with everything but the coin counter, the manual was in Japanese, but everything worked great. I got better results calling and talking to Jack Tao in person. Hope this helps, I already gave one guy their phone number. Laters..

Ok now I have a question for every one that bought from them. How was the condition of the monitor? Did anyone need to do a cap kit? Anyone have any burn in? My wife just OKed the purchase of one of these and I am just a little weary of buying Cabs/Monitors online after almost getting screwed on a monitor "with no burnin in great condition" that had burn and had massive problems with something.

Thanks in advance.

at first I wanted a capcom impress from them but seeing as their website is never updated and they never responded to my numerous emails (and I didn't get much help on the board), I just used buy it now on the first neo candy I saw them put up. Shipped really fast was $160 bucks from there to houston (no extra palletizing fee). Arrived in badass condition, all the ones I've seen are discolored or have somewhat messed up sideart, mine has neither. Monitor and everything works perfectly. (wish I could buy some replacement sticks or buttons from them but it's waay to hard to contact them). I've been watching their auctions, they've auctioned a handful or so more candy 29's since mine and they always get snatched up real fast with buy it now.

I'm sorry, but you happen to be the idiot on this one. Know your facts before you offend someone and try to back it up with your made-up "idea" of what is going on. SNK USA has them listed as SELLERS of bootleg games on right on their official website. Did you honestly think that a playmore employee just stumbled across an arcade and had them open up their cabinets to check for authenticity of the carts inside?? Don't be so rediculous.
