Shawn, I think you need to revise the "price guide"now, IMO some of the numbers there are just too far from reality. (Some of them: LB2, Double Dragon, Real Bout 1,2 )

Just to make them look more accurate.. i think.

I agree, pedu. I think we're beginning to see the decline of the high prices on many carts... this isn't to say all of them are going down, but some are really struggling to get even the low numbers.

Everyone's been saying the trend couldn't last forever... well, I think that time may soon be upon us.

The numbers are too high compared with how much we can get them here and from ebay.
Never saw RB more than $130, Samurai4 more than $320?? that's too much

Well not only that, but this price guide isn't accually scientifically thought out, what was the main influence for it no doubt? eBay, which we all know reflects real life prices perfectly.

I don't think ive ever heard of the Neo-Geo.com school of bussiness anaylasis.

The thing I don't understand is, if Dion had written this same price guide before whoever did it, everyone would have said it was BS, don't listen to it.

But since it's here, so many take it as serious.

Actually I noticed that one cart in particular has been dropping like a rock in value . . . that is the fake KOF2K "English" cart by NGF. Funny how Dion kept saying that the cart would be worth big dollars, over $600-$700 or more in the future, and now its down to a paltry $280-$330 and still dropping!! HAHAHAHA . . . pretty soon it will be viewed as virtually worthless in the Neo Geo community, really nothing more than a bare functional KOF2K cart with fake insert, cart sticker, and at least cover of manual. What a freaking joke those two clowns are . . .

Well... there are games that are very rare in japanese version and therefore have a much higher value than their U.S./Euro counterparts... at least a shooter, a shooting/action game and a scrolling beat'em up... i helped you a little...

I figure that the price guide changes when the recent trends in prices are mentioned to the maintainer of the guide. Twinkle star sprites should not be listed over $1000. A couple sold for that much, and then ecently one went for $960, and now, one at $849 didn't get bought, so it was relisted. I figure people's excitement should not be figured intothe price guide's evaluative process. And yeah, Last Blade is $90 game, Last Blade 2 is $300. If you pay more, you must be an american.

That certain shooter in Japan definitely worth more. $250 right? Funny thing is that the guide doesn't even discern between the US and the Jpanese price... I'll say it semi-open because I have no intent of buying it (very tough game). But recently, that's been the trend for this certain shooter.

Actually, I'd like to point out that TSS is the biggest gyp on the price giude. It's listed as EER, and we see one on ebay every other week. And the $1000 price tag only lasted so long. Now it's hard enough selling for $849. I don't even want to consider buying that cart. I'd probably have to get it professionally checked for authenticity...

Alright EvilWasabi, do you know from whom I can get a Last Blade 1 and 2 AES for $390. I'll buy it right now. I think the price guide does need to change but if your a seller that bought Last Blade 2 and 1 for $500, your not going to sell it for $390, unless you really need the cash and quick, even then there are people that will buy it for $480.But if anyone ones to sell their Last Blade set American/Japanese for $390 I'm here e-mail me LOL

I think it's so funny to see people arguing about price guide.....

If numbers are far from reality, people cry out

if number are below reality, people also cry out

Why don't you make your own price guide?
Why you want to follow Shawn's price guide?

I like the price guide! I use it to gage what I do pay on Ebay and MD game sales. I do question the fact that it can be used to keep prices high or low, but I still think the pluses outway the minuses anyhow. Why isn't there a Neo Geo Pocket one also. I have just started playing mine more again, and would like to know what the outrageous prices are for Gals Fighters.
