You tell all your Neo-friends that you are into MVS because it's the game that matters. The instruction book and case doesn't...

You try to make it look like it doesn't bother you...

But down deep inside you want those boxes... and those instruction manuals....

gah.. what an incideous hobby

Some of the mini marquees and artwork kits for the mvs makes it worth it,I admit though I would love all the booklets too .

I don't think it would bother me. If your'e a true gamer then you could look past it.

Yes, from now on this site should be sepparated between the people who play games, and the people who hide them in boxes. Poor, poor souls.

ROTFLMAO!!!

Who cares about a box, when you can flick a 10p in and play like it was intended?

Its not the money, or the space, its the feel of it! The Arcade experience! I've got a good telly, and I could build a Supergun, or buy an AES, but its not the same! Really, thats not jealousy, I can afford to spend a lot of cash on VGs, and if the AES was cheap, I'd have one for the sake of it. But I cant find it in my heart to believe that they represent Value for money! Besides, I collect to many other systems to want to throw money away for the sake of it!
My Cab is superb!
It's about 80% finished, I've got a dozen or so games, plus some PCBs and a CPS2, so soon I'll re-wire it to play everything! Instead of a header, I'm gonna make an infinity mirror for the top panel. Its gonna be sweet when its done
Its all a matter of horses for courses!
I want to relive my youthful arcade playing days!
But on my consoles, I want more up to date games!

Yeah, having an MVS with a cab is the only way to go IMHO. I love the ashtray on the front of my cab I mean, could you imagine an ashtray on a PS2? Noway. What you have there is a piece of furniture, something you can stand back and admire, and show off to anyone who happens to be visiting.

I think I might stick a pile of 1-2 pence pieces in the cash tray so it makes that nice 'clink' sound when you drop the coins in...the 'thunk' isn't quite the same.

I know what you mean

Those boxes and colorful manuals and inserts are rather sexy

but you've gotta love those big ugly black MVS games too

Personally, I like to get games on MVS that you can't get on cart

But I absolutely have to have complete collections of KoF and Samurai Shodowns on cart. Insert, manual and all.

The mvs carts rule i can live without all the cool shit like a nifty case and manual cuz I know the cart will last unless I drop a sledge hammer or something on it. I do have a bad habbit at the moment of buying the marquee cards god those alone remind me of my trading card days. I feel like some weird pokemon type person "I gotta collect em all" well at least for the games I own anyways.

I'm content with the Home System. I MUST have the complete package and refuse to settle for the carts by themselves! I'm a gamer, but I like to have everything complete like a collector would.
