Should I buy this?

My local arcade is selling their KOF 2k unit... it's a single slot MVS with the game for $295. It's in great shape, the buttons and sticks work fine. It's the standard red and black US MVS system. Is this a good deal? Should I go for it?

Thats a really nice price, the KoF2k cartridge alone is $295 worth, not even talking about the system itself.

Go for it. I payed 200 for the homecart alone. And you can switch other cheap MVS games. GO FOR IT!

Doh, I just called them and found out they're just selling the MVS for $295... and it's not a one slot, it's a six slot. Those are supposed to be the most likely to break right? I don't think $295 is that great of a deal for a 6 slot mvs is it?

I would say go for it.

Remember the 6-slot cabinets a huge and will not fit through any door easily. Before you pick it up bring some friends with you.

the marquee alone is 30" wide.

Also if you have a shop vac take it into your garage or other open area and blow all the dust out of the cabinet. Also make sure to check all the wires. This will help ensure the longevity of your parts.
