AOF3 Rocks!

I've had the MVS kit for a while and have been enjoying that, and I just recently acquired the AES version too.

I have to say that this game is awesome! It's a fairly original fighting system. Kind of like a cross between AOF and Tekken. It's really well done I think and the graphics are awesome. I know some people don't think this game is incredible, but for some reason it just feels right to me. It's my kind of game. Right now I think I'd rank it just behind the Sam Sho series, LB series, and Ninja Masters. It's certainly a keeper.

...maybe it's because I've been playing a lot of Breakers lately though

I've been thinking about buying it, but I hear it's the worst one in the series.

I can't test it at a local arcade, so there's no real way for me to know. <img src="graemlins/annoyed.gif" border="0" alt="[Annoyed]" />

I don't wanna flush a large amount of cash by buying a shitty game down the toilet.

I agree, the only rally bad thing with this game is the price and the character design.

I would like to see a KOF game running with this graphics engine thought.

I certainly wouldn't call it shitty. It's very very fun to play. Of course your mileage with the game may vary. If you're worried about cash, maybe get it on MVS or CD?

cgun, I really like the character design on this one. The characters were different enough, and yet fairly compelling. I find the characters in Kizuna to be just awful , although the gameplay is quite good (to give you some reference).

I've seen screens of it, and it looks damn good, but I hear the constant knockdowns in this one seriously derogate from the playing experience.

I think I saw one at the Neostore, I may make a move on it....then again, maybe not.

Galford forever > Ok, i think some character design is ok. Ryo and Robert is ok as usual, rody and jin (?) is pretty cool aswell. But lenny and thet little guy with the pelican is awful.

The gameplay is great and different from other neo-fighters and the graphics are stunning.

I couldn't ever get into AOF3. It's not because I "didn't understand it" or "didn't grasp the complex gameplay". It just didn't appeal to me. The animation is top notch all the way, looks real beautiful. I think AOF2 is the best out of all of them.

Galford ...its definately underated . Compared to the other AOFs its in a class all its own , the animation is very animeesque and very fluid .
The control is slightly weighted but all of the AOF series feel this way .

There is one problem though. YOU CANT PLAY YURI!!

I wanted to use her and only being able to see her for that little bit and at the end made me wanna go NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Well at least you see her.

The characters are nice and big as well.

Yeah, it seems to be extremely underrated. You never hear about it at all. I dunno what it is but it just struck a chord with me.

Oh, and whoever it was that was thinking about getting this from the neostore... sorry, I got it first .

Someone asked if it's as good as MOTW. MOTW has more polish I think, but I never really got into MOTW as much as I'm liking AOF3 now. MOTW is a great game though, but it just didn't draw me in as much for some reason.. I don't know.

Yuri has incredibly huge breasts in this one....so yeah i like it!!

It is a good game but i think alot of the characters blow!!

I think that Aof 3 is one of the worst games made for the NG, along with Aggressors of the Dark Combat. It has a lot of animations but it's still very poor in gameplay. Aof 2 is MUCH better.
