I bought a Hyper Neo Geo 64 from Bill Burger, it arrived pretty fast, but before I bid on the auction I asked if they were factory sealed in their boxes and he said yes they were. So I use buy it now, pay for it immediatly and get it today. Problem is, its not factory sealed, it just came in some bubble wrap. And 2 wires, thats it. What should I do?

hook it up and see if it works? Did you buy to collect or buy to play? If you bought to collect, don't touch it!! Send it back and ask for something with a pretty box before you change anything he packed.

If you bought it to play, then hook it up and see if it works. If it works, then who cares?

I think a lot of argument could be saved if collectors said, straight up, 'I'm a collector, original boxes and paperwork are more important to me than the game!!'. Maybe you did this, and he screwed you. I don't know.

I contacted him regarding a Hyper64 he had for sale, asking about the condition. He said they were new, but that did not mean they looked new, since "I have a bunch that look great but don't work and a bunch that are beat to shit but work fine, if you're going to worry about stuff like that maybe you just shouldn't bid on my auctions."

Needless to say, I did not.
