Higher serial # = Newer Neo

There are different internal versions of neo's, but that only makes a difference when you're upgrading one yourself- they all work with the phantom 1. Sometimes older systems get loose cartridge slots, and thats when you run into trouble with the phantom-1.

Check out neogeousa.com for repairs/upgrades- they replace cart slots, and they also sell/make the phantom 1.

Here's a good test, Shingo.

Does it take you one hand or two hands to remove a regular cartridge? How much do you have to fight it?

When I got my AES, I could remove the cart with one hand, and my foot barely touching the system to hold it in place, but it was too loose for my Phantom to work.

After I tightened it, it fully takes two hands and quite a bit of strength to remove an AES cartridge. But the Phantom works flawlessly.

My AES is quite an old-ass system.
