Neo Geo AES is still popular.......
9 new AES consoles have been sold......at price range $800 - $850......

Just look at now:

Economy is bad
Two new consoles will come out (Xbox and GameCube)

and people are still willing to spend big $$ to 11-year-old console......

Wanna know what else is sad? I've own a PS2 for almost a year and only have 8 games for it. My Neo Geo, on the other hand, I've own since August and I have 16 games for it! I need to stop spending my money. <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">
In all seriousness, how can you guys control yourselves when it comes to buying games? This is one addictive hobby.

Same here I doubt its been a year for me though, I got two games though, 8 is damn good if ya ask me.

With my PS 2 games, 4 of them are mine and the other 4 are my sisters. As for my Neo Geo, I own all 16 carts in my collection.

Wow... this thread has gotten cool as we get into how many ps2 games we own. I've had the system since the US launch and I own Tekken Tag, Onimusha, and Silent Hill 2. Of course I want to buy devil may cry and time crisis 2, I'll still be able to count all my games on one hand.

Yes this is true but you have to realize atleast we know that the Neo Geo works. Unlike the heX-Box which from news reports the demo's in stores are dying and locking up. I guess thats what happens when you turn a console game nox into a mini computer. Especially if the company making the OS for it has a history of producing buggy software!!

People who bought those AES are collectors, who badly want the last 10 immaculate high serial numbers NEO-GEO home systems, straight from SNK...
Only a collector would spend so much...

Screwing with or trying to use? I know the one in the Target right down the road from where I live both the X-box and the Nintendo GameCube demos were off only th PS2 was actually on. And some kid trying to play it got shocked by it as I was walking by!

I agree Microsloth sucks!!!
