Just wanted to let everyone know what a great seller Voorhees is. He packed up my Minty Samurai Spirits 2 with such care that I almost had to enlist the aid of my Katana to get the box open! Everything was in Excellent condition and I was pleasantly surprised to see that SS2 has an English option! However...green blood for the USA option? It's still a Japanese cart! Why not just keep the Red blood?! Oh well...I'll play it in Japan mode for blood, USA mode if I wanna understand it...

Great seller and a Great Game! Thanks Voorhees!

I'm not sure what you mean by that...but I just wanted to let people know that Voorhees was a great guy to deal with. He shipped fast and it was in great condition when it arrived...

I just wanted to post it here though so that others would know when dealing with him that he can be trusted(Which is hard to come by). When you find a good seller you stick with him in my opinion and make sure everyone else knows it went well.

I considered giving you a light flame when I saw the topic but didn't.

Its normally considered rude to praise a seller even in the selling forum, in general discussion its really a bit too much. Mention it in the original selling post, that you are very happy with the transaction. Or, next time you see him selling, bump his thread with a friendly recommendation.

Posting it here though is really spam.

Ok...sorry...I have just seen it many other times here, I thought I should do it as well. I'm still new to this board so I do not know everything yet...

Sorry. :(

I wouldn't worry. Most of the time the forum conventions here almost seem deliberately obtuse, a secret handshake if you will. They change all the time.

It used to be good form to kick off praise threads in selling but then it happened so much nobody could sell anything for threads telling people to buy things...

I just thought it was a bit odd to see this in general discussion is all.. In my mind these were always for the selling forums, as thats where they make the difference. Don't take it personally or anything. wink

Is it really considered rude now to post them in the selling forum? Seems odd if that is so. Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention to them lately.

Yeah, I've always had a bit of a problem myself with people putting praise threads or discussion topics in the market forums.

I find that they bump topics to the next page even swifter than usual, especially being the way the market area is.

Here's the rule about this, which we're all supposed to follow:

5. These forums are for buying/selling/trading only, not discussion. If you have a good transaction with someone and wish to post about it, post ONLY in the original thread of the transaction, DO NOT create a new post, or bring back an archived post on the issue. These posts will be immediately deleted. The same is true about a bad transaction, post only in the thread involved. If you wish to have a discussion about a transaction gone wrong, post in the General Discussion forum, if it is Neo related, and unrelated topics, if it is not Neo related.

Taken from the <a href="http://www.neo-geo.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=010507" target="_blank">Market Rules.</a>

So apparently, the only kind of topics related to sales that we can post in general are of deals gone bad...

Okay...from now on, I'll just post it in the original thread in the selling area or when someone asks for it...

I do however feel it's appropriate to give the person credit in my signature, where Voorhees name has now been placed.

Certainly we should be allowed to post about the good transactions and not just when someone screws us over?

Thanks,

Yes give props to the seller on the original
threads only. It is annoying to see these
threads spread all over.

Thank You,

Jorge
