Best Neo Controller?

Just wanted everyones thoughts on the best Neo Controller. I can think of four; Old Style Official, New Style Official, Official CD Pad and the Neo Hori Fighting Stick and the Neo Hori Fighting Stick 2.

I go for the Hori Fighting Stick 2 every time. It's a good wieght and feels as though it can take more of a battering than any of the official Neo Geo controllers! Plus I can slap on autofire for Metal Slug (I know that's cheating)!

Just wondered what everybody else's views are.

there are 2 hori fighitng sticks. I have the Horio Fighting Neo II. It's better than the HFN I.

There are also the MAS sticks (made by MAS Systems), which are like the controllers youwould use on an upright cab.

OOps yeah I meant the Hori Stick 2 as that's the one with the turbo buttons. I have a couple with my MVS Supergun setup. The Hori is just soooo nice!

I have a MAS, and after it there is no reason to use anything else. It's awsome.

I like the neo cd cotrollers for anything other than most fighters.

For Fighters I like the Massystems joysticks.

For non Fighter I like the cd pad or the controller pro.

Not much love for the old style
here. Never tried the HORI anyone would care to
sell me one boxed?

1) Have pics of the two Hori sticks (I never knew there were two different models)

2) Know of any stores or ebay sellers who have them on stock?

I don't know about you, but I'm partial to the Old-style sticks. I have 2 of them and I am quite content with them.

Mas or original sticks for me.

Mas sticks are a bit better overall though.

Old Style Official is cool but I like my mas sticks the best. I have CD pads but no non-fighters, but I think I would much rather use one of them for a baseball stars or shock troopers type game...

I got Jeff to mod a 6 button PC pad for me a few months ago since I've never been good with a stick and I can't stand the CD pad. It looks similar to the Saturn's Japanese controller, but with a much smoother d-pad. I don't know how I'd get along without it.

For fighters I prefer the MAS systems stick.

For anything else it's either the MAS systems stick or the old style.. I think I get quicker controls in shooting games (metal slug, pulstar, etc) with the old style stick. Most likely because I'm not really used to using the MAS systems stick on those types of games. angry

Most of the time I liked the oldstyle the most - but about a while ago I´m only playing with the newstyle - I´m concerned about myself ^_^

For better understanding: I play fighters very rare but shooters got stuck in my slots...

My friend had a Sega Saturn controller modded for use on his Neo. Barring the fact that there's no autofire (for shooters), this is arguably the best controller (not joystick) option around.

I gotta get off my as and get him to make me one... til then I'll be using my NGCD controllers.

If im not using the original stick to pull of breaks in MOTW, I am glued to my 6 button Genesis pad. THE best option.

My favorites in order are:

1. Neo Geo New Style Joystick
2. Neo Geo OLD STYLE joystick

I really hate the CD pad...I just can't get comfortable using it. Never used a Hori stick either.

I like the Hori Fighting Stick 2 the best. I just picked one up last year and I can't believe I waited this long to buy one of these. It's an awesome controller.
