Shock box insert format question

<a href="http://www.netreach.net/~scop/" target="_blank">Big Bear's site</a> provides a method that will get either EPS or PS into PDF, which is the preferred printable format. That's working fine, thanks to kafuin_gaira for the assist.

The question is, what about all those great BMP inserts that are floating around? What procedure do I follow to get those into PDF format in such a way that they print out with the correct colors in the correct dimensions?

Go into Photoshop and setup the printing dimentions correctly (BMP's save print data, so if you specify Photoshop to print them at the right size they'll go out perfectly. Just instead of printing to a regular Printer, you need Acrobat and print to PDF. You can tell from there if things came out exactly the way you want and can then re-print to PDF untill it comes out exactly as you would like.

if you right click the bmp in windows explorer with [edit: photoshop, not acrobat] it has an option to convert to pdf. i did it both ways with the lb_full.bmp from kaz's site and it made two teeny-tiny pdfs. using photoshop to print to pdf gave me a 271kb pdf, using the above method it gave me a 656kb pdf. my eyes aren't good enough to tell the difference from the computer screen so i'll take the larger one over to kinko's tonight and see how it turns out...
