Who is this Mr. Karate with the Tengu mask in SVC. At first i heard someone mention that he was in AOF1 (which i've never played) and now i'm hearing people say that he's in the KOF series? Is he supposed to be Takuma? If so, why change his name?

When he is wearing the mask, Takuma is Mr. Karate... it is a long running joke of the AOF/KOF series. Basically, Takuma thinks the mask hides his identity, and he gives lessons to the AOF team... of which Robert usually says... man your dad is weird Ryo... etc wink
In AOF it was serious, and he was using the mask to hide his identity... but then in two... "Don't do it brother... that man is our... that man is our...." Yes that man was their father... wink
He pops up from time to time in KOF with the mask,

I suggest you playing AOF 1 and 2 to know who Mr Karate is, and at the same time enjoy two great games.

takuma sakazaki wanted to stop geese howard. when geese kidnapped yuri, takuma had no choice but to submit to geese. geese wanted takuma to join his cause, but takuma didn't want to dishonor his name and the kyokugen style so geese gave him a tengu(bird) mask to hide himself. geese took off to handle some business and had one of his people take over who was mr. big. robert defeated him in combat and ryo took on mr. karate (takuma). ryo was ready to finish mr. karate when yuri stopped him saying its their father in disguise
