That was a system !Arcade! was considering but since there was a lack of interest, they decided to axe the project since it wouldn't be worth the money for R & D. Too bad, sounded awesome. Hopefully the company that follows in the SNK legacy makes it.... who knows....

Yeah!! I remember reading that thread to about people emailing Arcade! and getting a number. Arcade! needed a certain amount of people to sign to actually go ahead with production. I don't think I would have gotten one since I have an AES, MVS, and I know where to get a Super Nova just in case I wanted to.

Does anyone think that the AES 2 will ever be developed in some form? I realize that Arcade decided there was not enough interest, but I think alot of people dont buy that has there have been lots of questions about it since their decision not to produce it. It definitely looked like a great machine. Is there a chance that, if not Arcade, that some other company could take the plans and give it a go to see if it would sell. I think it just needs to get started and word of mouth(plus advertising) working to get an audience. The thought alone of getting a brand new MVS and AES machine, not to mention a Super Gun for around $400 was interesting enough. Tough to spend close to $300 or more for a good condition original AES machine with the mods on it that the AES 2 was supposed to have--not to mention spending $200 for a one slot MVS board new that doesnt have all the features. Cant imagine some company could not make a go with this concept or machine in some form--Especially with a super gun for Arcade collectors.
