It has to start with the buyers though.

The Venom guide is not "real," it's a complete joke. It is simple economics people. Find me Blazing Star for $250, Kizuna for $350, Pulstar for $250 and I'll buy every copy you can sell me. And so would anyone else, because you can turn around and double your money. "They are just games," you might say. Well anyone who looks at it that way either has no concept of how to manage money or is kidding themselves. They are collectibles with real value.
No more "stock market comparisons" btw. You try making a 10% profit in one day on the stock market (and that's being modest). Smart buyers/sellers can really capitalize on neo purchases at a rate far higher than playing the market.
These "venom prices" are NOT "REALISTIC", although they might be preferred. I wish they were that cheap. But you're not going to alter the market by making a new guide with cheap prices. The way "you think about video games" has NO bearing on the behavior of the market unless everyone thinks that way.
I'm not taking sides, I'm telling you guys the straight up facts. I wish there were no guides too, but prices would likely still be very high. You can either accept it or keep kidding yourselves.

IMO, it's all on how u look at it.

Anyone can throw up a guide, that might or might not benefit the communitty.
That's what shawn has done.
Too bad it doesnt seem to benefit anyone.

It needs revision, & if their not willing to revise it to make it better.

Some things do not need to be analyzed...
I believe we should eliminate that price guide.
There is to much status among people, and one thing thats truly important is the games. Which alot of good ones are over priced.
If anything is killing the scene from flourishing its the prices.
What if your a kid and want to get into neo?

His price guide is just as credible as any others IMO.
Since its a just a GUIDE, problem is people on ebay and what not think it is something more.
That guide is on equal terms with the other one.
