Sellers will never willingly reduce prices.
Why the heck should they willingly.
The trick is, if it's not MSRP, or what you consider fair, then DON'T BUY IT.
It's simple. If everyone stops paying jacked up prices, they will come down.
This is even in the imntrest of collectors.
Not in the short run, but in the long run.
That way they can buy, or upgrade thei collection, easily, & for less $$$.
It has to start with the buyers though.
That means PATIENCE.
With patience, ya'll will all be able to get the games u want for cheap.

Now those prices are realistic, you know whats funny? Watch how many of these inbred motherfuckers like FTL and dr. neogeo would drop out of the scene all the sudden if those were universal prices.
Sorry, but I don't buy games just to know I can sell em one day for a grand, 98% of the games I own I'll be keeping forever, I don't care if they were worth a grand or a dime. I wouldn't buy or trade for a game I didn't wanna keep.
Funny part is if all of samhains prices were even 50% cheaper, I still wouldn't collect the home system, I just have no intrest in it. I prefer to play the games on a cab in rgb, not on a tv, even in s-video the quality is ass compared.

The Venom guide is not "real," it's a complete joke. It is simple economics people. Find me Blazing Star for $250, Kizuna for $350, Pulstar for $250 and I'll buy every copy you can sell me. And so would anyone else, because you can turn around and double your money. "They are just games," you might say. Well anyone who looks at it that way either has no concept of how to manage money or is kidding themselves. They are collectibles with real value.
No more "stock market comparisons" btw. You try making a 10% profit in one day on the stock market (and that's being modest). Smart buyers/sellers can really capitalize on neo purchases at a rate far higher than playing the market.
These "venom prices" are NOT "REALISTIC", although they might be preferred. I wish they were that cheap. But you're not going to alter the market by making a new guide with cheap prices. The way "you think about video games" has NO bearing on the behavior of the market unless everyone thinks that way.
