I was just curious if I'm the only person that does this. But whenever I get a Neo cart and open it up for the first time I take a big wiff a that bad boy. I swear there is nothing in this world that smells as good as that HYAKU MEGA SHOCK! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> Smell the goodness!

Even after its opend it still smells so good.

I personally can't get enough of the scent from the boxes that I get from Japan. It's the same scent I remember from my girlfriend's house in Yokohama; she says it's the smell from the tatami mats.

Unfortunately a lot of my neo geo carts don't smell that good on their own (smell like smoke).

I like the smell of neo carts too.. the first one i ever bought must have been sitting closed for years, because when I opened it up, it about blew me away... I guess it had built up its scent.

telling any non-neo collecters about my love for the smell of my video games would make me look like a weirdo, huh?

Yes, I want to know what that scent is whenever I get a package from japan. I use to just have one friend in Japan who would send me games, but after he went to college I had to buy from other people in japan, and the boxes always had that certain something...

About a year ago when NCS got all that stock on the AES carts I picked up Sam Sho 1 and World Heroes 2 Jet. They were new copies and man they smelled great. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Have you smelled the manuals too? I decided to check out my copy of Fatal Fury 2 (which was actually brand new when I bought it!) and opened up the manual. The instruction manual was not only picture perfect (the best damn manual in my collection), but it had a special smell to it. <IMG SRC="smilies/drool.gif" border="0">
