whats the difference between html and ubbcode or whatever its called

I was just wondering what the difference is? cuz i was goin to put in a pic for when i post a message but not sure what all that means and i'm not good with the computer crap. least the tech. stuff.

They're related just different structure.

I'll try to keep it us uncomplicated as possible.

If you want to display an image in HTML you use the the element "IMG" then the address and then you tell it your done with the element "/IMG" okay?

The only thing that is different is in HTML you put the element like this <IMG>, get it? So a picture in HTML is <IMG>http://picturename.jpg</IMG>

The only difference in UBB is you use a set of brackets [] instead of <>.
so you do "

this forum has a cool feature on the bottom tho just look down right bellow the message box and ull see the "instant UBB code* table just click on the image button and point it to your image (image must be uploaded online to a place like geocitiesc.com)
