How much would a US Metal Slug cart be worth (no box or manual)?

No offense but I would not pay more than $100 because the odds of finding an authentic bare Metal Slug cart is pretty slim. Are you selling or buying? If selling, how did you come into possession of it?

I'm trading a copy of US Metal Slug 3 for it. The owner received it from a relative who passed away. He claims it's a genuine AES version. He even offered to deliver it in person during a business trip to the US next week (he's from the UK).

I'll admit I have my concerns as well, but he seems genuine.

So is this what my kids are going to do to my collection when I pass away sometime in the 23rd century?

Do a proper job of raising your children so that they play your games instead of selling them <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

My kids are going to be raised on computers and video games.

Well I would never trade a complete Metal Slug 3 cart for a bare Metal Slug 1 cart, authentic or not. For approximately the same amount of money as a MS3 home cart, you can have a complete converted MS1 homebrew cart made, complete with insert, cart sticker, and manual. The converted cart will of course play the same and be worth more, since it is at least complete, albeit not an authentic original cart. A bare MS1 cart to me isn't worth more than the minimum cost of converting an MVS MS1 cart . . . which would be in the area of 200 or so, give or take . . . Just my opinion.

Yeah, he originally had it posted as an auction. I offered him MS3 in trade and he accepted.

Metal Slug 3 bare cart is only worth about $100. I don't know of any to tell a converted one apart from a genuine cart.

I wouldn't do it, you can always get the converted Metal Slug for a reasonable price.

A bare cart of MS 1 US is worth not more than $70 or 90,the orice you can get a bare mvs cart of MS 1.

The big value of MS 1 US home cart is collector's value.
So it must be in COLLECTIBLE shape, complete and in good condition.

MS 3 complete is worth wayyy more.
