Actually their not bad at all. SOmetimes they take a tad bit long to get your order out but I have yet to have a problem with them. The only other gripe that seems to of gotten better is trying to get in touch with them. Their 1800 number is a tad bit annoying.

Buyrite isnt THAT bad, they've accually probably gotten better, because they know everyone would give them MORE shit for things (it gets back to them what people think)

Buyrite is not bad they usually have pretty good prices, but shipping take forever.

actually guys:
A) thier prices SUCK!
B)thier shipping and packaging SUCKS!( they sent my metal gear solid 2 dvd with NO PADDING WHATSOEVER! the case was opened up from being knocked around and the disc was hanging out.
C) they charge you EXTRA just to pad the package being shipped so after that and having to pay long distance charges while thier idiotic sales staff fumbles around you are paying $10+ more for your purchase.
D) and of coarse, the owner is the biggest piece of shit going. i called them up after they refused to give me the info I needed through Email and when I asked the person on the phone if the neo home carts were jap or english I heard the owner say " who cares, its not like you play the box, I know I dont" and then he started laughing. I would like to get my hands on that ass hole. the funniest thing is that he sounds like the fat ass sales man on the home shopping network.

Well some of their prices are 4-5 bucks less than the other import stores, but since they charge like 8.50 for UPS ground, you really don't save any money.

Well its been like a week and a half i have been waitin for my stuff. So i'm callin them tomorrow lettin them have it cuz i've order ups ground and gotten stuff usually 4-5 days and the other places were farther then buyrite is from me. I hate dealin with asses.
never order neo carts from them, or anything collectable. Just don't. NCS, VideoGameDepot (now a cart-mart store) - these are the only two I trust. I used to order from Buyrite a lot, just for the prices, but after receiving mis-advertised items (specifically ordering the snapcsae NGP carts a few years ago and getting the cardboard crap), and a roughed up KoF 99 DM cd "new" I have to stay the hell away from them. There are more reliable sources for games, and only at a few quarters more expensive.

You should have asked that BEFORE you ordered from them, not AFTER. Or researched it here in the forums, or elsewhere on the web. There has been plenty of information about the poor service, substandard quality, expensive/slow shipping, lousy packaging, and bad attitudes shown by Buyrite.

YOU FOOL! Have you any idea what you've done?! There's no way you can get a refund, since they say that "ALL SALES ARE FINAL". Furthermore, it takes them two to three weeks for them to ship an item. You should've listened to us (or at least considered your actions) before you took the dive. All I ever ordered from them was a Capcom vs SNK poster (and that arrived OK), but that's the only time I ever ordered something from them. I forgive your (rookie) mistake, in the fact that you were tempted by all of their merchadise (happens to everyone). But, you still should've looked elsewhere before you bought from Buyrite. Who knows? You just might get all of your merchandise in one piece, but I betcha you end up getting it in pieces. To quote Chimpmeister, "May God have mercy on your soul...".

Buyrite is horrible. When I ordered Capcom vs. SNK 2 from them I waited, like, two weeeks until I just ordered it from NCS (cheaper, too). The NCS copy got to my house in three days and a couple days later the Buyrite one finally came. I returned it and they charged me a fee even though I didn't open it! Never again am I ordering stuff from there.

you'll most likely get your shit, but you may have to fight for it and make several call backs. the owner is an asshole and their prices are pretty much fucked- personally - i've received everything i've ordered from them, but with the exception of the CVS poster- there were issues/problems with everything( for instance, i paid 59.95 for RBFFS on the saturn and there's a 44.95 price for the used copy online, when i called to tell them i was sent a used copy- the owner practically laughed and said "we'll OBVIOUSLY a title like this for the saturn is always used- no refund or credit"- I wanted to take a dog and have him piss in this fuckers mouth.
bottom line- fuck buyrite-use them only as a complete fucking last-ditch fallback,and even then-FUCK BUYRITE!!!

Over the last 3 or 4 years, they only screwed up one order of mine. I ordered a US Metal Slug 2 CD, and they sent me an import copy. Otherwise, I've never had any problems with them. Items received in about a week. Packaging was ok. Satisfactory experiences as a whole.
Now, I will say I won't do too much business with them at one time EVER. The service sucks. If I'm looking at spending more than $50 or $60, I'd probably run to NCS or VGD/Cart-mart first since you can talk to them, and they'd deal with you just as any business ought to: the right way. I'd rather pay just a few bucks more to get stuff from people who truly are respectable and trustworthy.
Deal with Buyrite, and I'd say in most cases you won't have problems getting your stuff (based on my previous experiences). You just might not be satisfied with the overall service, though.

CHILL OUT PEOPLE!!!!! LOL I CALLED THEM TODAY AND WENT NUTS ON THEM AND TOLD THEM HOW I HEARD ALL THIS STUFF THEY GAVE ME A TRACKING NUMBER AND EVERYTHING I JUST ABOUT TALKED TO EVERY GUY THERE. They must of up'ed the price on the package deal. when i purchased mine like two weeks ago. I got a pre-owned neo geo cart system with controller, and a brand new copy of Metal Slug 3 English verison i think for a total of $520. The set was $499.99 then i think $20 for shipping they charged me. It's supposed to arrive this monday. I'll tell ya how it turns out. When i called they were nice as hell to me and kept apologizing and everything. cuz like i said i went nuts on them lol. <IMG SRC="smilies/tickled.gif" border="0">
