I love CvS2.

Very cool. I have a couple issues with the groove points systems that sorta goes against my style of play but it's a good game.

CvS 2 is simply tremendous. All the added options (customizing game system!!!) are great additions.

Visually, you have to love it. It's just gorgeous. Of course, they added those little things to the backgrounds (like the one rotating platform stage that has Xiangfei from RB2, what's-her-hame from Darkstalkers, and, if I saw correctly, Tung Fu Rue, standing in the background) that just make it that much better.

If I could complain, I would only complain about the game's AI. Sure, I plowed through the game through the normal matches, but once I get to Omega Rugal or Shin Akuma, forget it. I've beat them both now (usually start off at 3 or 4 star difficulty and work my way up), but that wasn't easy. That's not really a complaint. If it's not hard, I don't feel like I get my money's worth.

The survival mode seems to be a bit ridiculous. I'm struggling to get past the 10th match. Once I get that far, it seems like the AI gets smarter 10-fold, and the computer hits a lot harder, too. I get hit 5 times, the match is over. THAT I don't like. I don't want to cave and lower the difficulty setting, but I wonder if that would even help.

All in all, another excellent addition to a DC game collection. Personally, I'd call it a must-buy.

Now, Capcom would guarantee a third in the series...

yes, both these games are MASTERPIECES and give the DC the best way to go out that i could ever hope for.
CVS2 will be played for years and i can still see new strategies being employed, and GAROU is a beautiful 2d work of art that replaces Real Bout Fatal Fury as my fav. fatal fury game.
any true 2d fan owes it to him/herself to pick up these gems on the DC.
i'm anxiously awaiting the U.S. release of GAROU as well!!! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Yeah both games are great. Remember you can still get the U.K. Shenmue 2 w/ english subtitles.

I have actually been enjoying C.vs.SNK 2 more than garou. MOTW needs more characters. If it had 5 to ten more characters I would like it so much more.

I've been kicking a lot of ass w/ c groove lately. I learned a lot of juggles. Level 2 supers can connect to a level 1. Plus you can cancel. I came up w/ some really nice combos w/ Terry, Rock, Sagat, Joe, Ryo, King and Ken. Most of them do about 75% damage. CHeck out the c and a groove combos at gamecombos.com. Very cool shit. It will expand your ideas ten fold.

I've played quite a bit of CvS2. Very fun game, especially when you use SNk characters.
MotW hasn't been played too much by me since I got it. A little too easy, and too few characters. Still a good game tho.

love my dc cvs2 and what everyone is saying is very true the snk characters have much more appeal than the capcom characters..snk has always just had alittle more style in that area

has anyone attempted netplay?
i have a BBA on the way and im rather curious about that

Yeah......

I love my CvS2. It's the only game I have to import, so no matter. I like the new modes, the new grooves, characters(Haohmaru rules), and the net play.

One of my few beefs I have with CvS2 is the bosses.....I preferred Geese and Vega over Rugal and Gouki because Geese and Vega are old school.

Maybe I'm an old school kind of guy.

I'm still waiting for the US release of MotW.....from Agetec.

Isn't Cap Vs SNK 2 already out in the US for the PS2? I already saw the card at ToysRus.
