What puzzles me is that although it is known that Japhei HAS a digital camera and usually takes pictures of his items ...he has not in these auctions ...wich makes it seem just a bit fishy ...
I mean wouldnt you want to see a actual picture of a item you are about to dish out 1400 for ?
BTW if it is a LEGIT auction 1400 is about what these go for new to vendors since it is a money making cart you are also buying the right to use it publically .
so it is not a ripoff price .

The guy has quite a bit of negative feedback.. not dismissing the fact that he has quite a bit of good feedback as well, but bad feedback always sticks out like a sore thumb.. especially 21 within the past 6 months
*Edit - 9 neutrals too.. I can understand having some bad feedback when you do a lot of business, but I've seen people deal with hundreds of people each week and keep up a better profile than this..

I am not sure if your statement is correct. If so, why does the NEOSTORE sell new MVS carts for the same as AES? Also many auctions on ebay for new MVS games that just came out are also around the same price. Is there a website that can clear this up?

The $1000-$1400 price tag is its NEW price that usually lasts about a month at the most and then depending on how much money the game rakes in and how popular it is the price gradually decreases as the game ages ...
in some EXTREME cases the value plummets for reasons such as dead popularity or the market becoming flooded with the game ..
This happened with Rage of the Dragons ...the price went from $1000 to 150 in about a years time .

This game is out from what I understand reading the two reviews of it, a couple of folk here have played it in Japan, maybe its just a couple of demo pods or something so they can claim such and such level or takings when they do sell it though.
I wouldn't buy from Japhei though.

Actually it is out, it came out on 3/19/03, last wednesday. You can get it from Japan/Hong Kong. Just hit up Cosmico,
