Hey I am new to the NEO GEO. I finally got one, seeing as I have wanted one since I was eleven, and was wondering what were the good games to try and get a hold of.

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of NEO GEO. The first games I would try to hunt down are:

Sports:
Baseball Stars 2
Super Sidekicks 2
Shooters:
Last Resort
Blazing Star
Some of these games a lot more than others, but all will give many hours of enjoyment!

Well get some classics to start off with sotry samurai shodown 2 and fatal fury special but really it all depend how much you're willing to spend i.e. out of the'cheaper' new games i'd fully recommend metal slug 3 as its bloody fantastic! 
and kof 96 as everybody know's its the best one wink

Hello and welcome, i hope you enjoy your stay here. For games i would say go for the types you like best, say you like shooters go for the metal slugs first etc and then move on to the beatem ups etc. Or whatever lol

There are insanely expensive games in every series, usually the last. Instead of going for LB2, Garou, SS4 and KoF2K2 I've bought LB1, RBS, SS2 and KoF98. Likewise, instead of AoF3 or WHP you should get AoF2 and WH2J and get much more bang for your bucks.
Unless you're just a collector, but then you should be buying paintings and not games ^_^.
