a us or jap duo will play both us/jap regular and super cd's-you will need a adaptor to play the few arcade cds(i think that's what their called)

as far as hu-cards go the us will play tg16/us ones and the jap duo will only play pc-engine hu-cards

a good starter unit would be a us duo(mab get a pc engine later to play pc engine hu cards(their are hundreds out there)-thats what i did) that way you can play all of the great us hu cards and most of the us and jap cd's

my setup consists of a us turbo duo, 3 turbo expresses-1 tv-tuner,2 turbo-grafix 16's and a pc-engine core II(i think that's what its called) :)

Vintage Video and Games has a TG16 deck and contoller plus all the leads in their shop and ready to go! I think its selling for $39, but I'm not sure. They also have a bunch of TG16 games, some complete some not, but all for very reasonable prices (we're talking $5 to $10). They ship anywhere and great folks to work with. I've spent nearly $5000 with them in the past 5 years and I can tell you that they do whatever they can to help the customer out. Just click the link in my sig to go to their web site. Tell 'em Alpha Mike sent ya.
